Power Lab 200 Hour Course

We are offering a new evening and Saturday 200 Power Lab Course!
Admission Requirements Tuition and Fees Program Structure Program Dates

The Power Lab 200 Hour Course will help you acquire your 4th Class Power Engineering Certification if you have completed your Part A and B theory courses, but do not have the six-month stream experience needed to become certified. The course is offered as an interactive training lab.

Once you have successfully completed the course, you will be eligible to write the Alberta Boilers Safety Association (ABSA) 4A and 4B exams to become certified. If you have already completed the exams, you will need to submit your AB66 form to ABSA. Your steam chief will give you this form when you complete the course.

For more information, contact the Office of the Registrar, or our Power Engineering/Process Operations Administrative Assistant by email or call 780-791-4955.  Learn more about what our program has to offer in the video below.
