  Keyano College is doing its part in the fight against COVID-19 in the Wood Buffalo Region.  The College’s nursing department has ensured that staff and students are included in the  local effort.
Support has been offered to both the Northern Lights Health Centre and the Fort McMurray Fire Department, from sharing medical grade cleaning supplies to freeing up nursing faculty to take shifts at the hospital and encouraging volunteering.

In light of the new restrictions imposed by the Alberta Government and Alberta Health Services (AHS) on May 4, the Keyano College Convocation ceremony planned for Friday May 14 will be postponed and rescheduled. The new date for convocation will be Friday June 11, 2021 at 10 a.m. MDT.

Keyano College has signed an agreement allowing graduates from the Early Learning and Child Care (ELCC) Diploma program to transfer into the Elementary Education program in the Faculty of Education at the University of Alberta (U of A). The transfer agreement will allow ELCC students to apply their educational credits towards their Education Degree at the U of A.
