Fourth annual Keyano Huskies Golf Tournament Presented by AirCon Technologies tees off August 23

Keyano College is excited to announce that the fourth annual Keyano Huskies Golf Tournament Presented by AirCon Technologies will be held at the Fort McMurray Golf Club on Friday, August 23, 2024.

The fun-filled tournament begins with registration and welcome lunch at 11:00 a.m., a 12:30 p.m. shotgun start, and a banquet dinner and awards presentation at 7:00 p.m.

“The Keyano Huskies Golf Tournament stands as a cornerstone in our annual fundraising efforts, playing a pivotal role in sustaining and elevating our Athletics program,” said Jonathan Lambert, Director, Athletics & Recreation. “Beyond the pursuit of excellence for our teams, our student athletes recognize their dual responsibility as both students and ambassadors within the community.

“The support provided from our Huskies Golf Tournament not only fosters the success of our student-athletes in the classroom but also cultivates their role as exemplary figures in sport and leadership. The backing of the Keyano Huskies Golf Tournament is indispensable in our mission to not only secure championship banners but also to enrich and empower the vibrant RMWB community our student-athletes proudly call home."

Each year, the tournament offers golfers a fun day on the course as well as the opportunity to interact with student-athletes from the Keyano Huskies on each hole, playing a variety of fun games with great prizes available.

Keyano College is also proud to announce the return of AirCon Technologies as Title Sponsor for the tournament. For the fourth year in a row, Liam Burgess, President and CEO of AirCon Technologies, is helping support Huskies Athletics. Thanks to the support from all our generous sponsors, the 2023 Keyano Huskies Golf Tournament was a success, bringing in over $53,000.

“With your support of Keyano College, together we are able to provide opportunities to students who might not otherwise be able to pursue higher education” states Liam Burgess.
