CICan Announces Bronze Medal Recipient for The Leadership Excellence Award
Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan) yesterday announced the recipients of its 2023 Awards of Excellence, which recognize best practices and individual achievements from colleges and institutes across the country.
Every year, a select group of thoughtfully selected CICan members are honoured with the CICan Awards of Excellence for their outstanding leadership and contributions to advancing Canada’s social, cultural, and economic development.
This year Nermin Zukic, Chair and Instructor for Business at Keyano College was honoured yesterday with The Leadership Excellence Award.
“I consider myself fortunate and privileged to work with a group of dedicated and motivated educators in Keyano’s Business Department, along with other colleagues. So even the act of nomination itself has been greatly appreciated and I consider it, along with the actual award, a recognition for the entire department, “said Nermin.
“Nermin has brought so much of his diverse experience to Keyano College over the past six years, along with his impact of values regarding entrepreneurship and future learning benefits,” said Dr. Sandra Efu, Vice President of Academics and Student Experience.
This award was given in Montreal at the World Congress 2023 Conference.
