Keyano College welcomes new President and CEO

Today Keyano College has welcomed Jatinder (Jay) Notay as Keyano College’s President and Chief Executive Officer.

Mr. Notay comes to Keyano College from his former position as President and CEO at North West College in Battleford, Saskatchewan. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia, a Master of Education degree from Nipissing University, and he is currently a Doctor of Education candidate in Education Administration with the University of Western Ontario.

Keyano College’s Board Chair, Shelley Powell, said, “We are pleased to announce that Mr. Jay Notay has joined the College as President & CEO. Mr. Notay brings over 25 years of post-secondary experience to the position, roles including college president, vice-president academic, and dean, for urban and rural post-secondary institutions in Saskatchewan, Ontario, and British Columbia.

“We would like to take this opportunity to thank Dale Mountain who has been Interim President and CEO for the College during an extremely challenging period for both the College and the region. Mr. Mountain has returned to his former position of Chief Financial Officer.”

Jay has significant experience leading and assisting in the development and implementation of institute-wide strategies, including corporate strategy, educational strategies, and government relations, all of which will benefit the students, employees, and the wider College-community.
