Keyano College to celebrate graduates through online convocation

Posted On Wednesday June 10, 2020

In response to the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, Keyano College will celebrate its 54th Convocation Ceremony online on June 30.

Convocation is an annual celebration for students and their families, as well as faculty, staff and community members. Although, the College is unfortunately unable to provide an in-person ceremony, it will mark this important achievement through an online program and video that will be hosted on its website and shared through its social media channels. The video and program will feature the names of all graduates and include messages from the college and the community.

The College will also announce the winner of the Governor General’s Academic Medal and will select a Valedictorian to offer a message to graduates.

The 2020 convocation will celebrate more than 500 graduates who have completed their studies in certificate, diploma, and baccalaureate programs.

Students who are eligible will receive their parchments in the mail once all program requirements have been met. As such, processing of parchments is ongoing. Graduates may email registrar@keyano.ca for more information.

We are very sorry this day of celebration could not be held in person, however the health and safety of everyone on our campuses is our highest priority.
