groupMore than 125 Keyano College students recently completed The Inquiring Mind, a Mental Health Commission of Canada program designed to address and promote mental health and reduce stigma of mental illness in an educational setting. KoryKeyano College is expanding its Dual Credit Program to include more trades as options.
The initiative, offered in partnership with high schools in the Fort McMurray Catholic and Public school districts, was first launched in 2016. Eight high school students were enrolled in that first intake, which focused on residential electrical installation. The program has since expanded to 16 students.

It was a night of celebration as more than 250 students received over $450,000 worth of awards, bursaries and scholarships at the 2019 Keyano College Student Awards on Tuesday, November 26.
Students received awards totaling $140,000 more than last year, breaking all previous records.  Funds were raised from the Keyano Gala, from College Alumni, and through the generous support of 122 individual and corporate donors.
