Differential Aptitude Test (DAT)

There are no academic prerequisites to write the DAT. However, you should only register if your intended program requires the test.

Register at Keyano College

You can register by:

• Phone: Call the Office of the Registrar at 780-791-4801
• In person: Visit the Registrar’s Office at 8115 Franklin Avenue, Fort McMurray

After registering, you’ll receive a payment confirmation number, which is required to book your test online.

Register Outside Fort McMurray

If you’re outside the Fort McMurray area:

1. Contact the Office of the Registrar at 780-791-4801 to pay the DAT registration fee.
2. Arrange for a college or university testing centre to supervise your exam.
3. Complete and submit the Out-of-Town DAT Exam Form with your supervisor’s information.
4. Keyano will send exam instructions directly to your supervisor.
5. Write your exam during office hours (Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.).

Please note:

• Your supervisor cannot be a friend, relative, or coworker.
• You are responsible for any additional fees charged by the off-site testing location.
