Privacy And Access

Keyano College is a public body subject to the Access to Information Act (ATIA) and the Protection of Privacy Act (POPA).

These acts provide individuals with:

• The right to request access to records held by the College
• The right to access personal information about themselves held by the College
• The right to request correction to their personal information by the College
• And the right to request an independent review by Alberta’s Information and Privacy Commissioner of decisions made under the act.

POPA also sets controls on the collection, use and disclosure of personal information by the College.
