Building Connections: Keyano Alumni Network Expands Through 10K Coffee

Keyano alumni are part of a growing community, and new opportunities are making it easier to stay connected, build professional relationships and give back.
This August, the Keyano Alumni program connected with alumni, students and community members at two major college events: the sixth annual Huskies Athletics Golf Tournament on August 21 and Fall Orientation on August 24.
At both events, attendees had the opportunity to learn more about the Alumni program, Encore: A Signature Evening of Impact, and a new way to connect through the 10K Coffee networking and mentorship platform.
Thank you to Shavell Skeel and Sunil Choudhary for supporting the Alumni booth at the Huskies Athletics Golf Tournament and to Misty Schad for supporting Alumni engagement during Fall Orientation. Their support helped create opportunities for conversations about staying connected with Keyano beyond the classroom.
Connect through 10K Coffee
Open to alumni, students and professionals, 10K Coffee is designed to create meaningful connections within the Keyano community.
Beginning September 1, participants can use the platform to expand their professional networks, meet others in their fields and build connections across industries and career stages. A mentorship component will launch in January 2027, creating further opportunities to share knowledge, gain guidance and support the next generation.
Whether you are a recent graduate, an established professional, a current student or someone looking to give back, creating a 10K Coffee profile is an opportunity to stay connected to the Keyano community and help strengthen networks across the region and beyond.
Coming together for Encore
The Alumni team also shared information about Encore: A Signature Evening of Impact, taking place November 7 at SMS Equipment Place.
Encore brings together alumni, partners and community members to celebrate the impact of a Keyano education while supporting opportunities for students, programs and spaces.
As a major fundraising event for Keyano, Encore is another way alumni can reconnect with the college, celebrate the people and partnerships shaping our region and contribute to opportunities for the next generation.
