The University Transfer: Bachelor of Arts Program allows you to complete up to two years of university-level study at Keyano College before transferring to a degree-granting institution to complete your Bachelor of Arts.

You'll explore subjects such as English, history, psychology, sociology, political science, philosophy, anthropology, and more while developing strong writing, research, and critical thinking skills. With flexible course options, you can tailor your studies to your intended major and transfer goals.

The University Transfer: Bachelor of Arts pathway provides the foundation for completing a Bachelor of Arts degree at a partner university. After earning a BA, graduates may pursue careers in a wide range of fields, including:

Public Service and Government Research and Policy Communications and Media Community and Social Services Education (with additional qualifications)

Graduates may also continue their education through graduate or professional programs in areas such as Law, Public Administration, Education, or other arts-related disciplines.

Student studies in a campus common area, taking notes while referencing a laptop and open textbooks. The learning environment supports independent study, research, and academic success.

Program Details

High School Diploma (or equivalent):

You must have a high school diploma (or equivalent) with minimum average of 60% with no mark below 50% in:

  • English 30-1
  • Four subjects from Group A, B or C (Only one Group B subject may be presented for admission)

Mature Students (21+):

Applicants 21 years or older can be admitted by completing the following courses with a minimum average of 60%, with no mark below 50%:

English Language Proficiency (if applicable):

  • TOEFL iBT: minimum score of 86 with no score below 21
  • IELTS Academic: minimum score of 6.5 with no score below 5.0
  • CAEL: minimum score of 70
  • MELAB: minimum score of 85
  • Duolingo: minimum score of 115
  • PTE (Academic): minimum score of 58
