The Power Engineering 6-Month, 200-Hour Lab is a continuing education course designed for individuals who have completed ABSA-certified 4th Class Power Engineering theory (Parts A and B) but still require the six months of steam time needed for certification.

Through hands-on training, students build practical skills in operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting power plant systems, connecting classroom theory with practical experience.

Upon completion, students are prepared to challenge the ABSA 4A and 4B certification exams and continue toward 4th Class Power Engineering certification.

Note: The 200-hour Power Lab at Keyano is intended for 4th Class steam time only, not 3rd Class.
