If you're passionate about caring for others, Keyano College's Practical Nurse Diploma will prepare you to provide safe, compassionate nursing care in a variety of healthcare settings. You'll develop the knowledge and practical skills to care for individuals and families across all stages of life, whether you're working in hospitals, continuing care, community health, or other healthcare environments.

This hands-on program combines classroom learning, simulation labs, and clinical placements to help you build the confidence and experience needed for a career in practical nursing.

Program Approval: The Practical Nurse Program is conditionally approved by the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA).

The Practical Nurse Diploma is a competitive-entry program. Applicants who meet the admission requirements are ranked based on their GPA in the required courses, and offers are made to those who meet or exceed the competitive GPA for that intake.

Applications open on October 1 for the following year's intake and remain open until the first day of classes, subject to seat availability. Applying early is recommended, as the program has limited enrollment.
