Delivered in partnership with PEMAC Asset Management Association of Canada, the Maintenance Management Professional (MMP) Certificate Program equips professionals with the knowledge and tools to manage physical assets and maintenance operations effectively. This nationally recognized program supports reliability improvement, cost efficiency, and strategic asset planning in complex industrial settings.
The MMP designation is ideal for those responsible for managing equipment, infrastructure, or plant operations - including planning, scheduling, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What Is the MMP Certification?
The Maintenance Management Professional (MMP) designation is a national credential developed by PEMAC. It’s designed for working professionals in maintenance, operations, or technical services who seek to improve maintenance reliability, planning, and strategy. Upon completion of the full program, participants may be eligible to pursue additional PEMAC certifications.

Is the MMP program officially recognized?
Yes. Keyano College is an authorized PEMAC training partner, and this program leads to the national MMP designation.
Can I earn a certificate partway through the program?
Yes. PEMAC awards micro-certificates for completing:
- Modules 1 & 5: Maintenance Strategy Development Certificate
- Modules 1 & 6: Maintenance Work Management Certificate
Is the program open to individuals?
Currently, this program is available through Corporate Training only for groups of 10 or more.
What are the entry requirements?
Participants must be 18+ years old. A high school diploma and relevant workplace experience are recommended. Contact us to discuss prior learning recognition through PEMAC.
