The Business Aviation Diploma at Keyano College is designed for students interested in building a career in aviation business operations. This two-year program combines foundational business knowledge with aviation training aligned with Transport Canada standards. 

As part of the program, students take aviation courses with McMurray Aviation that count toward the requirements for the Private Pilot Licence and Commercial Pilot Licence. Students also choose between two program specializations: Northern Aviation Operations or Airline Operations. 

The program is delivered in collaboration with McMurray Aviation, a regional commercial aviation services provider located in Fort McMurray, Alberta. For more information about McMurray Aviation, please visit their website

Career Opportunities

Graduates of the Business Aviation Diploma are prepared for careers in both flight operations and aviation management. With business training and Transport Canada–approved flight experience, you can work across various sectors of the aviation industry. Example roles include:
