Hands-on experience for future Power Engineers

Keyano’s Power Lab provides the practical steam time and hands-on experience required to support Power Engineering certification. Students train with live steam systems in a facility designed to simulate real-world plant operations.

Your registration process depends on whether the Power Lab is part of your Keyano program or you only need the lab training.

Non-Credit Power Labs

Non-credit Power Labs are for learners who have completed their Power Engineering theory elsewhere or only need practical steam time to support their certification.

A separate registration is required. Choose the format that works best for you:

CEPLAB200: 200-Hour Power Lab

Complete the full 200-hour Power Lab in one continuous course. This option is for students who have completed 4th Class Part A and Part B theory and still require the practical steam time needed for certification.

CEPLAB40: 40-Hour, 5-Week Power Lab

Complete the 200-hour requirement in five 40-hour training blocks. The blocks must be completed in sequence within 12 months, making this a more flexible option for students who cannot attend the full course at once.

Credit-based Power Lab

The credit-based Power Lab is included in the learning path for students enrolled in:

You do not need to submit a separate application for the Power Lab. You will register for it after completing the required theory coursework.

Please note: Students in the 4th Class Power Engineering – Comprehensive program make two tuition payments: one for the theory courses and another for the 200-hour Power Lab course.
