Whether you're a total beginner or looking to improve your conversational skills, Keyano College’s French Language Courses provide a welcoming environment to learn and practice French. These non-credit Continuing Education courses are ideal for personal enrichment, travel preparation, or helping support children in French immersion programs.
Courses are offered in both in-person and HyFlex formats to suit your learning preferences. You'll develop real-life communication skills while exploring key vocabulary, grammar, and sentence structure in a relaxed and interactive setting.

French Level 1
Start learning French from scratch.
Perfect for first-time learners or parents of children in French immersion, this course introduces you to fundamental vocabulary and sentence construction.
You will learn to:
- Introduce yourself and ask questions
- Tell time and discuss daily routines
- Use personal pronouns, articles, and negation
- Conjugate regular verbs and apply basic grammar
- Apply masculine/feminine nouns and common expressions
- No prerequisites required

Tuition: $399 + GST & $5 tech fee
All courses are subject to GST and a $5 tech fee.

French Level 2
French Level 2 is designed for learners who have some basic knowledge of French and are ready to build on their foundation. This course is ideal for those looking to strengthen their conversational skills and expand their vocabulary. Participants will continue developing grammar skills, practice forming more complex sentences, and gain confidence using French in everyday situations. Completion of French Level 1 or equivalent experience is recommended.
