Auditions
Do you belong on stage? Keyano Theatre produces 2 community-based theatre shows every season which are performed entirely by local volunteers, guided by professional artistic staff. This is your chance to step into the spotlight and show everyone the power of live entertainment. Whether you are a seasoned theatre pro or you are just wanting to try something new, KTC auditions are open to everyone.
For the 2026-27 Season Keyano Theatre will be producing Charlotte’s Web with performances September 25 – October 3, 2026 and Come From Away with performances happening February 12 – 20, 2027.

Come From Away Auditions
Auditions for Come From Away will be taking place the weekend of October 2nd, 2026. Actors for this production must be age 16 and up. Please sign up for an individual audition slot on either Friday evening or Saturday. Callbacks will be held on Sunday Oct 4.
Prepare for Your Audition
Book an individual audition time to meet the directing team and tell us a little about yourself.
Please prepare a monologue between 60 and 90 seconds. You may choose your own monologue or use one of the provided audition readings. You should also be prepared to read scenes during your audition.
Music Audition Materials

Please choose 1 of the audition songs provided.
- “I Am Here” and “Me and the Sky” have versions in the original key, a higher key, and a lower key.
- “Heave Away” has versions in the original key and a lower key.
- Each key has a pdf of the music, a version of the track for practice (with a piano playing the melody), and the performance version that you must use at auditions.
- For auditions, gender is irrelevant for song selection. Please choose the key that suits your voice best.
- If you are a less confident singer, I suggest that you choose “Heave Away”. However, you are welcome and encouraged to challenge yourself with any selection!
