Single and Family Accommodations

Keyano College student housing provides our students with convenient, accessible, clean and comfortable accommodations during their studies. Please note all of our buildings are housing suites are pet and smoke free.

Your college experience starts with where you live. Whether you're looking for a private apartment, a family-friendly townhouse, or off-campus housing nearby, Keyano College offers safe, comfortable, and affordable options to help you feel right at home.

Student housing is offered on a first-come, first-served basis, so we encourage you to explore your options early and apply as soon as possible.

Single Housing

Options and Features

  • Clearwater Hall – On campus, furnished suites with 6 single bedrooms; shared kitchen, living room, bathrooms, storage; cable and phone outlets, and WiFi included
  • Riedel Townhouses – Off campus, furnished 3-4 bedroom houses; shared living spaces; washer and dryer, utilities, and WiFi included
  • Penhorwood Place – Off campus, furnished units with 2–6 bedrooms; garage or basement options; shared amenities and WiFi included

Family Housing

Options and Features

Unfurnished two or three bedroom townhouses at Penhorwood and Riedel, with kitchen appliances, washer and dryer, storage, parking, and internet.

Housing Fees and Payment

Accepted Payment Methods

  • Certified Cheque, Bank Draft, or Money Order (In Person or By Courier) 
  • E-Transfer to payments@keyanohousing.ca - please note your name and Housing Account # in the notes 

If paying by certified cheque, bank draft, or money order, the cheque must be made payable to "Keyano College Housing". 

Custom payment plans available upon request.

We do not accept personal cheques.

All Housing Fees are due in accordance with the Student Housing Agreement. If you have questions on your Housing Fees, deadlines or amount, please contact the Housing Office at info@keyanohousing.ca  

Unpaid tuition
If you owe tuition fees, you are not allowed to live in student housing. Tuition must be paid in full prior to acceptance or continuation in student housing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Students can apply for Housing by submitting an application online, and paying an application fee of $50.00. Acceptance and housing type are subject to availability and are not guaranteed. Housing is reserved for full time students of Keyano College – graduated students may request extension but acceptance is not guaranteed. 

Typically, application updates are sent within 2-3 business days.

Payment for Fall/Academic Year applications is July 15th, or if accepted after that date payment is due upon receipt of your invoice. The Housing office will send out an invoice after acceptance is complete. Winter Term payments are due December 1st, or if accepted after December 1st they are due upon receipt of your invoice.

In Single Housing, units are furnished. Family Housing units are not furnished.

Yes, utility costs (water, electric and internet) are included in your Housing fees.

  • Cancellations

Cancellations occur prior to move-in. If you wish to cancel your Housing application, you must cancel through the application portal.

  • Withdrawals

Withdrawals occur after move-in. If you wish to withdraw from Housing, please submit your cancellation on the application portal and then contact the Housing office at info@keyanohousing.ca to advise of your departure date. 

Cancellations will not be accepted over the phone. The Housing department operates independently from the Institution and if you cancel your application or enrolment at the Institution, you will also need to cancel your Housing application. Refunds will be issued by the Manager as detailed in section 8.06 of the Student Residence Agreement.
