Admission Requirements

High School Admission

Applicants must have a High School Diploma (or equivalent) with a minimum average of 60% and no mark below 50% in:

  • English 30-1

  • Math 30-1

  • Two of: Biology 30, Chemistry 30, Physics 30, or Mathematics 31

  • One subject from Group A, B, or C (refer to the Credit Calendar for groupings)

Mature Student Admission

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age on the first day of class and must meet the same course and grade requirements as above.

English Language Proficiency

If English is not your first language, you must meet one of the following minimum test scores:

  • TOEFL iBT: 86 (with no section below 21)
  • IELTS: 6.5 (with no band below 5.0)
  • CAEL: 70
  • MELAB: 85
  • Duolingo: 115
  • PTE Academic: 58
