Industrial Mechanics, also known as Millwrights, are highly skilled tradespeople who specialize in installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery and mechanical systems.

What is an Apprenticeship?
Apprenticeships combine technical classroom training with paid, on-the-job learning under the guidance of a qualified journeyperson.
- Program Duration: 4 periods over 4 years
- In-Class Training: 8 weeks per year (per period)
- Workplace Training: Minimum 1,560 hours per year
- Credential Earned: Journeyperson Certificate and Advanced Diploma
- Red Seal Option: Available during the final period (Interprovincial Exam)
To progress, apprentices must engage in training activities within 18 months of registration. Those who pass the Red Seal exam will receive national recognition as a certified Industrial Mechanic (Millwright).

- $250 admission deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable.
- If an apprentice withdraws 10 business days before the first day of class, a 50% refund of tuition (minus the $250 admission deposit) is available.
- If the college cancels a program, a full refund will be granted.
