Keyano College’s Industrial Equipment and Safety Programs offer practical, hands-on mobile equipment training tailored for industrial worksites and corporate teams. Delivered by experienced instructors, training is available in-person at Keyano College or on-location at your job site.
These short-format programs help businesses meet safety compliance, reduce workplace risk, and upskill their workforce with industry-recognized credentials.

What is the minimum age to attend?
All participants must be at least 18 years of age.
No. All students must bring their own CSA-approved personal protective equipment, including:
- Steel-toe boots (Canadian Standards Association (CSA) approved)
- Hard hat
- Safety glasses

Are certifications recognized?
Yes. All certifications issued are industry-recognized and valid for three years (unless otherwise specified).
Can companies request custom group training?
Yes! We offer flexible scheduling and delivery options for group training. Contact our coordinator for details.
Admission Requirements
To qualify for the Industrial Equipment and Safety Courses, you must:
Fulfill the following minimum requirements (any one of the following):
- Show a valid Photo ID to the instructor upon arrival to complete the class.
- Bring and wear your own Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including:
- Steel-toe boots (Canadian Standards Association (CSA) approved)
- Hard hat
- Safety glasses
- Reflective vest
