Haul Truck Operator

A haul truck is a large, heavy-duty vehicle used primarily in the mining and construction industries to transport massive loads of earth, rock, ore, or other materials. These off-highway trucks are built for extreme durability and can carry between 60 to over 400 tons, depending on the model.

In mining operations, haul trucks are a critical part of the production cycle, moving material from the excavation site to processing or dumping areas. Due to their size, power, and role in high-value operations, employers require operators to be skilled, safety-focused, and properly trained.
