Air Brakes “Q” Endorsement
Air Brakes “Q” Endorsement (CEAIRQ 100)
12 Hours | $395 + GST
To operate a vehicle equipped with air brakes in Alberta, Class 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 drivers must complete an approved air brake course and obtain a “Q” endorsement on their driver’s licence.
If you're pursuing a Class 1 licence, you must complete the air brake endorsement before applying.

How Air Brakes Work
Air brake systems use air pressure generated by an engine-driven compressor. This pressure travels through hoses, reservoirs, and control valves to operate the vehicle’s brakes.
