The full CNC Table Operator program can be completed in five weeks.
CNC Table Operator
Start your path in advanced manufacturing. The CNC Table Operator Program at Keyano College is a hands-on, short-term program that prepares you to operate Computer Numerical Control (CNC) cutting equipment safely and effectively.
Through five micro-credential courses, you’ll build foundational skills in material handling welding, blueprint reading, CAD/CAM software, and CNC table operation - all while working in a real workshop setting. Whether you are exploring trades for the first time or adding new tools to your career toolbox, this program gets you job-ready fast.
Even though this program focuses on CNC cutting, basic welding techniques are included to give you a well-rounded skill set for working in fabrication or manufacturing environments.
What is CNC?
CNC stands for Computer Numerical Control, a manufacturing process where computers control machine tools like laser cutters, routers, or mills. CNC technology allows for precision cutting and shaping of metal, wood, and other materials using digital files.
This program focuses on CNC cutting tables, giving you practical skills used in fabrication shops, welding environments, and digital manufacturing.
