These non-credit Continuing Education courses are ideal for personal enrichment, travel preparation, or helping support children in French immersion programs.
Courses are offered in both in-person and HyFlex formats to suit your learning preferences. You'll develop real-life communication skills while exploring key vocabulary, grammar, and sentence structure in a relaxed and interactive setting.

Perfect for first-time learners or parents of children in French immersion, this course introduces you to fundamental vocabulary and sentence construction.
You will learn to:
- Introduce yourself and ask questions
- Tell time and discuss daily routines
- Use personal pronouns, articles, and negation
- Conjugate regular verbs and apply basic grammar
- Apply masculine/feminine nouns and common expressions
- No prerequisites required

Designed for learners with basic French knowledge, this course enhances your ability to speak and understand more complex sentences and verb forms.
You will learn to:
- Describe people and surroundings in detail
- Discuss past events and future intentions
- Use irregular verbs and more advanced tenses (conditional, imperative)
- Improve fluency in conversations across various settings
- Prerequisite: French Level 1 or equivalent skills
