What Your Fees Include

Your student account may include:

  • Tuition
  • Technology, Campus Recreation, and Students’ Association Fees
  • Health and Dental Coverage
  • Residence Rent (if applicable)

You can view your account and charges in your MyKeys portal. Questions about specific fees? Contact the Office of the Registrar ( registrar@keyano.ca )

Payment Deadlines

Tuition and fees must be paid at least 10 business days before classes begin. Refer to the Credit Calendar for the tuition and refund schedule.

How to Pay

Online Banking

Step 1: Log into your online banking.

Step 2: Add a new payee:

  • “Keyano College – Tuition Fee” (credit students)
  • “Keyano College – Continuing Education” (non-credit students)
  • “Keyano College – Rent” (residence)

Step 3: Use your nine-digit student ID as the account number. 

Credit Card (via Plastiq)

Pay by credit card through Plastiq. Additional processing fees apply.

TransferMate (for International Students)

Pay in your local currency with competitive exchange rates and no hidden fees.

  1. Visit TransferMate Payment Portal
  2. Register and enter your student information.
  3. Follow instructions to complete your payment.
  4. Use your TransferMate confirmation number in MyKeys after payment.

Refunds

To request a refund, contact the Office of the Registrar at 780-791-4801. Refunds are processed by cheque or electronic funds transfer and follow the Refund of Fees Policy in the Credit Calendar.

Sponsorship and Student Loans

If you have a scholarship, award or student loan, check your account to ensure this is reflected.

Student Loans: Loan recipients are not charged late fees if loans are processed after the payment deadline.

Sponsored Students: If a Confirmation of Sponsorship is on file, no late fees apply. Outstanding amounts not covered by sponsors are the student’s responsibility.
