The Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) at Keyano College is here to support faculty in delivering high-quality, engaging, and inclusive learning experiences, both in and beyond the classroom.
Whether you're new to teaching or a seasoned instructor, the CTL offers the tools, training, and resources to help you grow your practice, connect with peers, and make a lasting impact on students.
When we invest in teaching, we invest in student success. That’s why the CTL works in close partnership with academic departments and leadership across the college - helping instructors build meaningful, culturally responsive, and student-centered learning experiences.
Whether you're designing your first course or refining your tenth, we’re here to help.

Course Design & Delivery
Work with our team to design outcomes-based, accessible, and engaging courses — whether you teach in person, online, or in hybrid formats.
Instructional Technology & Learning Tools
We support faculty in using the full suite of learning technologies available at Keyano, including:
- Moodle – Keyano’s main Learning Management System for course content, assignments, and grades
- YuJa – for video recording, sharing, and interactive lectures
- Turnitin – for academic integrity and originality checking
- Microsoft Teams – for virtual classes, meetings, and student collaboration
- Zoom – for synchronous online teaching
- Respondus – for secure online assessments
- H5P – to create interactive learning activities
- ReadSpeaker – to support text-to-speech functionality and accessibility
We help instructors confidently integrate these tools to improve engagement, accessibility, and student outcomes.
Looking to reduce costs for students while increasing flexibility? We can also support the integration of Open Educational Resources (OER) - high-quality, freely available materials that can be customized for your course needs. Explore OER at Keyano
