Whether you're stepping into a planning role or advancing toward leadership in maintenance and asset management, this certificate helps you build a strong technical foundation and drive performance across departments.

What Is Asset Planning and Management?

Asset planning and management is the strategic process of overseeing physical assets, such as equipment, infrastructure, and facilities; throughout their lifecycle to maximize value, performance, and reliability. It involves planning maintenance activities, optimizing inventory and supply chains, scheduling operational tasks, and using data to inform decisions.

By effectively managing assets, organizations can reduce downtime, control costs, improve safety, and extend the useful life of critical equipment. Professionals in this field play a vital role in industries like oil and gas, manufacturing, utilities, and transportation—ensuring that operations run efficiently and sustainably.
