To log in to your account, you will need the following:
- Username: student or staff ID barcode number
- Password: four-digit library Personal Identification Number (PIN)
For more information, please see What is my library PIN? and What is my library username?.
Borrowing Policies
Loan periods, renewals, and overdue fees are determined by the type of library membership you have.
Renewals
Library Fines
Due to our partnership with other library organizations, late fees and fines may be added to your account and may be more than expected – please don’t be alarmed. In many cases, simply returning or renewing any overdue items can often waive these fees entirely – please contact us for ways that we can help.
If a financial hold has been placed on your student account, it will remain in place until the items have been returned in good condition OR the replacement fee has been paid in the case of lost or damaged books. When the outstanding book(s) are returned to the library in good condition and/or the replacement cost has been paid, all fines will be waived and the financial hold will be lifted. All library fines must be paid in person at the Library.
Requests & Interlibrary Loans
If there is an item you wish to borrow that is not available through the Keyano Library Catalogue, you can request to borrow it through interlibrary loan (ILL). Please note that it may take up to 2 weeks for ILL resources to arrive.
If you are a library and would like to borrow an item from Keyano, please complete the ILL Book Request form.
Scan on Demand
