The Supply Chain Warehouse Operations Program is a comprehensive training program that will provide clients with job-specific technical and employability skills in the warehousing function as well as necessary support to find and maintain full time employment. The program will include components that integrate classroom learning, industry exposure, safety certifications, and work experience placements to prepare clients for full time employment in the warehousing field.
Upon successful completion of this entry-level warehouse operations training program, clients will gain a solid understanding of the curriculum, develop useful knowledge that can be applied within the workplace and potentially obtain an entry-level position within the supply chain warehousing field in the local market.
Admission Requirements
- Completion of Grade 12 or GED.
- Individuals must be out of the regular K-12 school system for 12 consecutive months.
- Work ready Albertans (18 years +) who are currently unemployed or marginally employed (working 19 hours or less).
- Clients who require job-specific technical and employability skills in the warehousing function to find and maintain full time employment.
- English Language skills are required in order to succeed in the program.
**For Albertans to whom English is a second language, a minimum Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) score of 5.75 is required (an assessment will be completed prior to registration).
Program Structure
Due to COVID-19, the Winter 2021 classes may be delivered virtually and/or in-class (depending on class size). If delivered virtually, the online platform of Zoom and Moodle will be used .
- To participate in the program you will need a computer with video accessibility and a good network connection - cellphones are not acceptable to complete course requirements!
- All course materials will be posted on Moodle, and you will be able to access Moodle, one (1) week, prior to your course start date. Please email Continuing Education or call 780-799-0535 if you don’t know your credential or experience any issues.

This program consist of twelve (12) weeks of classroom training followed by six (6) weeks of work experience with a local employer.
Class times are Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
*Note: On weeks with Holidays, class times will be longer, 8:30 am - 4 pm
- A minimum of 80% of class attendance per weekly session is required in order to receive a certificate of completion.

If you are ready, willing and able to commit to the 18 week Supply Chain Warehousing program, please email CONED@keyano.ca to indicate your interest with this program and we will follow up with a phone call to start the registration process.
**Registration will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Registration processing times are delayed, so please reach out at your earliest convenience to start the process early to ensure acceptance into the program within one (1) week of program start date.
Please note: Employment Insurance (EI) and Income Support (IS) clients are welcome.
