Posted On Friday December 13, 2019

International students from more than 15 countries are eligible to receive scholarships from the Government of Canada.

If you are a citizen of Azerbaijan, Bhutan, Comoros, Djibouti, Fiji, Kazakhstan, Kiribati, Liberia, Mauritania, Micronesia, Palau, Tonga, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, and Vanuatu, you can be considered for the Study in Canada Scholarship program.

Palestinian students from the West Bank, Gaza and East Jerusalem are also eligible, but may be requested to provide supporting documentation demonstrating their Palestinian identity.

How it works

To be considered, you must apply for admission to an academic program at Keyano College by January 31, 2020. We will then apply for the scholarship on behalf of eligible students.

There are two scholarship values:

  • Up to CAD $60,000 for programs of one academic year in duration
  • Up to CAD $120,000 for programs of two academic years in duration

The money can be used in a variety of areas, including to cover visa and/or study, work permit fees and/or travel related expenses. Airfare, health insurance, tuition fees, and mandatory expenses, books and supplies, living expenses, and ground transportation are also eligible expenses.

Eligible students are encouraged to visit our website for a complete list of programs offered at the College – www.keyano.ca/programsandcourses.

Interested applicants can contact Sandra Efu at Keyano’s International Education Office via e-mail at sandra.efu@keyano.ca or phone at 780-791-8974.
