Keyano College names new VP of Corporate Services & CFO

Keyano College names Murray Walford new VP of Corporate Services & CFO

(Fort McMurray, AB) – Keyano College is pleased to announce Murray Walford has been named Keyano College’s Vice President, Corporate Services &CFO.  Walford will join the College effect October 3, 2022.

 Keyano College’s President & CEO, Jay Notay, said, “Mr. Walford brings over 20 years of experience in Alberta’s post-secondary sector. He provided strategic financial oversight and direction as the CFO at NorQuest College in Edmonton, the Associate Vice President, Finance at Athabasca University, and his current role as the CFO at Lakeland College. We feel fortunate that he will be bringing his expertise to Keyano.”

 An avid believer in life-long learning, Walford has a Master of Arts degree, and he is a Chartered Professional Accountant and a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach.

 Notay went on to say, “I would also like to acknowledge the work of Rob LeSage.  We appreciate his hard work and dedication to the College and stepping to assist in this role.  The last two years have been exceptionally challenging, and Rob has been steadfast through all these challenges. For that, the College thanks him.”
