Keyano Theatre announces 2020-2021 Drama Series

(Fort McMurray, February 25, 2020) For forty years, Keyano Theatre has entertained Fort McMurray and the Wood Buffalo region, presenting community theatre, concerts, galas, and more. As part of celebrating our 40^th anniversary in September 2020, we are proud to present our upcoming Drama Series.

“This Drama Series is all about celebrating our community and the wonderful people who make live theatre here possible; from the volunteers on and off stage and behind the scenes, our theatre staff, the professional artists, and our fantastic audience,” says Keyano Theatre & Arts Centre Director, Alan Roberts.

• This summer, the Theatre kick starts its celebrations with the extremely popular youth camp, Drama Force. In August, the group is proud to present Disney's Moana Jr.
• In November, the best way to spread Christmas cheer will be to sing out loud for all to hear. Bring the whole family to the fun and whimsical Elf The Musical by Bob Martin and Thomas Meehan.
• February 2021 brings us the iconic gun-slinging love story of two of America’s most notorious gangsters in Bonnie & Clyde The Musicalby Don Black and Ivan Menchell. This captivating legend features an incredible musical score that will be playing in your head for a long time afterwards.
• The final production of the 2020/21 Drama Series is the "best farce ever written:” Noises Off by Michael Frayn. This hilarious play, set for April 2021, treats audiences to an uproarious peek at a second-tier acting troupe performing a show.
