Keyano Huskies Golf Tournament set for September 7, 2023
Keyano College is excited to announce that the third annual Keyano Huskies Golf Tournament will be held at the Fort McMurray Golf Club on September 7, 2023.
The fun-filled tournament begins with registration at 12:30 p.m., a 1:30 p.m. shotgun start and a banquet dinner and awards presentation at 6:30 p.m.
Jonathan Lambert, Director, Athletics & Recreation, thanked everyone for their incredible generosity and highlighted what the event meant for the Huskies. “The Keyano Huskies Golf Tournament is a fun event for our sponsors to come out and have a good time, but it’s an important fundraiser for us. These funds will be instrumental in growing our athletic program and helping to allow even more students to compete at the college-level sports and achieve academic excellence.”
The 2022 Keyano Huskies Golf Tournament was a success, bringing in over $62,000.
The money raised was $20,000 more than the original goal, allowing Keyano to host the 2023 ACAC Men’s Volleyball Championship, February 23 to 25, and the ACAC Men’s and Women’s Futsal Championship, March 10 to 12.
