Winter 2021 Semester at Keyano College to continue in online and blended delivery model

Keyano College will continue to deliver programming in both an online and blended delivery model for the upcoming Winter 2021 Semester.

In response to the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, Keyano College has been successfully delivering the Fall 2020 semester through on-line and blended deliveries wherever feasible.

This decision is based on the best information available and will allow the College to move forward fully into planning for the upcoming Winter 2021 intake. Where necessary, and as Alberta Health Services (AHS) guidelines permit, the College will continue to deliver limited in-person learning in labs and shops. The College plans to continue offering clinical experience in alignment with the direction from Public Health, Alberta Health Services, and other responsible agencies.

In the event of another increase in AHS COVID-19 restrictions, Keyano is well-prepared to continue program deliveries in an online or virtual setting. Keyano has invested in enhanced online tools and will be able to support students with virtual learning opportunities to connect with faculty, staff, and fellow students.

The College is also working closely with Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training (AIT) and is prepared to continue to deliver Apprenticeship training in a blended model for Winter 2021.

Our priority remains keeping students and staff healthy and safe. While this remains a changing situation with many unknowns, we want to assure our community that we commit to provide an exceptional experience for students, one that will prepare them for a career or for further education.

Keyano College’s online registration for Winter programs include a full range of credit programs in business, childhood studies, environmental technology, university studies, academic upgrading, education, social work, nursing and allied health, power engineering, and more.
