Due to the ongoing challenges with the COVID-19 Pandemic, Keyano College in collaboration with other Alberta Colleges, has made the difficult decision to forgo competing in the 2021 Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) Winter Athletics season. The three sports affected by this at Keyano College will be Men’s and Women’s, Volleyball, Basketball, and Futsal. In addition, competition in cheer and cricket, which are non ACAC athletics program, will also be suspended.

The ACAC is taking preliminary steps to explore expansion from traditional post- secondary sport competition into the growing world of eSports. A pilot ACAC sponsored online eSport competition is scheduled to take place on November 21, 2020 and could potentially involve participants from 17 or more Alberta post-secondary institutions.
