In accordance with the March 15 directive from the Government of Alberta, effective immediately, all classes, including all Trades, Academic, and Continuing Education classes, at Keyano College are cancelled. For the next three days, staff and faculty will be rolling out online delivery options for active programs.

As part of our ongoing prevention response to the COVID-19 virus, please note the following actions:
Starting Saturday March 14, the Syncrude Sport and Wellness Centre will be closed except for tenants and their customers until further notice.

All Keyano Theatre shows for the rest of March have been cancelled or postponed. Ticket holders will be contacted for refunds. (A list of those specific events will follow below.)
All Keyano Huskies sporting events are cancelled, including training sessions.
The Rivalry Dinner fundraiser has been postponed to a later date in the fall.

Contrary to ongoing rumours in the community, there are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) within Keyano College.
Out of respect and privacy, we will not report individual testing results . We provided the initial internal message on March 7 to be open and honest with our staff and students. Not to illicit fear and panic.

Once fierce rivals, former National Hockey League stars Doug Gilmour and Shayne Corson are coming to Fort McMurray on March 27 for a fundraising dinner in support of the Keyano Huskies.
The guest speakers for The Rivalry Dinner have played for both the Montreal Canadiens and Toronto Maple Leafs, teams that have had a long standing NHL rivalry dating back to 1917.
