JACOS Heritage Bursary
No: 1 Program: Academic or Career Year: 1 Awarded to a student entering a career or academic upgrading program. Student must demonstrate financial need and involvement within the community. The recipient™s immediate family must have resided in the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo prior to 1960. Preference will be given to a student of Aboriginal ancestry, but all students are encouraged to apply. Proof of both Aboriginal ancestry and residence in the RMWB prior to 1960 must be provided. A student who receives sponsorship from another source will not be eligible for assistance. Please provide a copy of line 150 from your income tax return as proof of financial need. A letter of reference printed on community organization or company letterhead must be provided stating amount of volunteer involvement.
