Mobile Equipment Certification
Keyano College offers a wide variety of Mobile Equipment Training Certifications that are designed to train and certify employees with current and accredited information. Our training will give you the safety information you need in an easy-to-use, convenient format, and will empower you to make your work a safer place and protect your most important assets - you, your co-workers, and your employees.
NOTE: Students are required to bring and wear their own Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) including hard hat, safety glasses and steel-toed boots to each course. Picture ID must be shown to the instructor upon arrival to complete the class.
Keyano received money from an external funder to offer these programs free of charge to promote the importance of workplace safety.
| Sit-Down Forklift (CEFORK 100) | ||||||||||||||||||||
| This course is designed to meet the needs of Counterbalanced sit-down type of lift truck that uses solid/cushion or air/foam tires. Students must successfully pass the theory and practical components of the course. Course will focus on pre-trip inspections, proper handling and loading, safe operating techniques, and hazard avoidance. PPE is required. At completion student will receive wallet sized card valid for 3 years. Class size: Maximum 10, minimum 3

| This course is designed to introduce students to safe work practices involved in operating skid steer loaders. We will focus on pre-inspections, recognizing worksite hazards, safe loading and dumping along with safe operation. Students must successfully complete the theory and practical components of the course. PPE is required for this course. MAINTAINING STATUS: Successful completion of a certification or recertification course every 3 years. Class size: Maximum 10, minimum 3

| We have partnered with the University of New Brunswick to offer a comprehensive online Occupational Health and Safety certification and diploma program to advance your career and lead your organization to better health and safety practices and procedures. The online Occupational Health and Safety Certificate program incorporates current safety trends and regulations to give you the tools to develop, implement and evaluate an effective health and safety system. The program prepares you to write the Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) exam. |
