Volleyball background: Keegan grew up in Fort McMurray, and started playing Volleyball at St. Annes school in Grade 7. During his time at St Annes his team won back to back city titles two years in a row. He then moved on to play for the Father Patrick Mercredi High School Trappers. In his grade 9 year he played on their junior team. The next year he was one of 3 grade 10 students who made the senior team. During his time on the senior team they won city championships 3 years in a row. 2 zones titles, a second at 3A provincials and in his senior year a showing at 4A provincials. Keegan is also a Husky Alumni, playing for the men's volleyball team for 3 years. During this time he helped the team make playoffs for the first time in their history, and represented the team at nationals. For the next two years he played at SAIT winning a provincial championship and a second place finish at nationals. He is thankful for his time at SAIT, and the experience it provided, but his heart was always with the Keyano Huskies.
