Keyano Huskies’ Blazej Pellowski has established a new Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) career kills record for men’s volleyball.
In last weekend ‘s ACAC two-game series against the host NAIT Ooks in Edmonton, Pellowski had 18 kills to bring his career total to 1,074.
Pellowski, a 6-foot-4 outside from Wroclaw, Poland, surpasses the Scott Lesher (Briercrest Clippers/SAIT Trojans 2008-2013) career total of 1,065.
In his fifth and final year, Pellowski also has 149 service aces, which place him at No. 2 on ACAC career service aces.
Former Keyano Husky and two-time Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Player of the Year Alwyn Piche (2006-2009 2012-2013) is at No. 1 with 176 service aces
Pellowski was an CCAA All Canadian in 2015-2016.
Huskies currently sport a record of 16 matches won 3 matches lost 50 games won 18 games lost with four ACAC regular season games remaining.
