Bootcamp

Whether you're getting back into your fitness routine or looking to help keep yourself motivated, this class is just what you need.  Using a mix of circuits, cardio, resistance, and core work this full body class is sure to keep you energized for whatever comes your way!

Cardio & Core 

This workout will challenge your aerobic and anaerobic energetics, speed, quickness, agility, muscle reactivity and full body explosive power. This program will include interval training throughout the class using a variety of equipment at times to help condition your body combined with moves to strengthen your core abdominal and back muscles while balancing overall strength and flexibility.

Cycle Strength

This 40 min spin class is a great way to get in an effective workout, and is great for all ability levels.  The instructor guides participants through a warm up, workout phase which includes some weights to tone those arms, ending with a cool down and stretch.  Drills consist of steady states, up tempo cadences, sprints, endurance drills, and climbs,  You control the resistance on your bike to make the pedaling as easy or difficult as you choose. Varied routines keep things fresh.  All you'll need is light workout clothes, a towel and a water bottle.

Pilates

Join us for a body conditioning routine that helps build flexibility, strength and improve balance. Pilates focuses on a series of exercises and postures that integrate mind-body awareness to lead to a stronger more meaningful workout. With a blend of Pilates mat exercises and current core training practices this class enhances core strength and creates an awareness of movement.  This class if for all levels and focuses on the feeling of an exercise rather than how it looks.

TRX Fusion

Developed by the Navy Seals and used by professional athletes, the TRX Suspension Trainer provides versatile and challenging workouts.  Suspension training builds core strength with every exercise by creating an element of instability.  Using the TRX and a variety of additional equipment, challenge your core, balance, coordination, strength, and power to build and push your body like and athlete.

ViPR Fitness

ViPR trianing is what you need this season! This new training tool combines movement and strength for a full body conditioning work out.  This high intensity class is perfect for taking your training to the next level. ViPR training will improve your agility,  balance, and dynamic strength for maximal fitness goals. ViPR is for all fitness levels and can be a part of your regular fitness routine.

Warrior Yoga


 

This class starts with a warm up to upbeat music and Sun Salutations.  Then enjoy an uplifting stretch to improve your flexibility and detoxify the body with standing and seated yoga poses.  The last part of the class includes a full restorative and relaxation to calm the mind.  You'll leave this class balanced & refreshed, ready for the weekend.

Teen Weight Trainer

This program introduces youth (teens), ages 13-15 to the foundations of weight training including machines, free weights and weight room etiquette.  Graduates gain confidence, understanding of weight lifting and is a prerequisite to use the Long Boat Landing Fitness Centre. Teens working out in the fitness centre must keep his/her TWT ID card on hand at all times.

Add some Latin flavour and some international zest and you’ve got Zumba!
