Playful Paws (18-36 months)
Start your child off on the right “paw”! This program gets parents and child moving together through a series of both structured and unstructured activities to start developing fundamental movements needed to be active for life!

Playful Pups (3-6 years)
Following Canada Sport 4 Life’s Long Term Development plan this program will work on giving your child an “Active Start”. Parent and child together will develop fundamental movements such as running, jumping and balancing which will help your child feel confident to be active for life. Each child will complete the course with their very own Playful Pups report card!

Pump It Up
This after school program works on increasing physical activity for youth during after school hours and works on the development of FUNdamental movements that will help our youth be Physically literate and confident to be active for life. This free program takes place in various locations throughout our community for grades 4-6
Move & Play through Physical Literacy Workshop
This 60-90 minute workshop includes a practical professional development opportunity for leaders who would like to integrate physical literacy in their children and youth programming. Learning basic movement skills affects our activity level for life. If you can’t properly jump—think of all the activities you will miss out on! Ensure your students are on the
right track and learn fun games that gets students working on their FUNdamental movement skills.
Move & Play in Action
Once your group has received the physical literacy workshop, our leaders are available to come into your school/organization to let you see how a classroom focused on Physical Literacy looks! Observe our leaders as they lead your youth through games from the Move & Play resource before you take it in your own hands!
AFLCA (Alberta Fitness Leadership Certification)
The Alberta Fitness Leadership Certification Association is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to developing, promoting and implementing national standards for the training and certification of group exercise leaders in Alberta. The AFLCA offers certification in the areas of group exercise leadership including resistance training and group exercise leader. The AFLCA qualifies you to deliver exercise leadership province wide, and is recognized across all of Canada. Courses include exercise theory, Resistance Training, Group Fitness and Pre/Post natal.
