A wide variety of job opportunities are available to theatre technicians nationwide. You may find employment as a lighting or sound technician, set designer or carpenter, costumer, film editor, scenic artist, theatre director, makeup artist or teacher. If you would like to combine your love of drama with behind-thescenes work, our two year Technical Theatre program will give you the skills necessary for working with others, or independently.

• High School Diploma, or equivalent with English 30/30-1 or 33/30-2 and interview. Students who enter the program with English 33/30-2 and who wish to transfer may have to take30-2 and who wish to transfer may have to take English 030 and might not complete their transfer program in four terms as English 030 is not credited towards certificate or diploma requirements.
• Mature students (21 years of age or older): English 30/30-1 or English 33/30-2, or equivalent and interview.
• If you are missing one or two required high school subjects, it is possible to enroll in combined studies and take the necessary courses at Keyano College or a local high school while beginning your technical theatre studies.
