No matter which area of business you may be interested in, Keyano College can start you on the right track with our Business Administration Programs. Whether you want to get into a career now or finish your degree, you'll have the opportunity to explore your interests and learn about business fundamentals.

For those who thrive on order and love to work with numbers, Keyano offers Accounting as a specialization; students who want a broader perspective on business functions may be better suited for the Business stream. Both of these programs are offered as certificate, diploma and co-operative education programs through full-time or part-time classes during the day or evening.

Transferability

Graduates of the Business Administration Program may be eligible for transfer to the following institutions:

  • Athabasca University: Bachelor of Administration, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Management
  • University of Lethbridge: Bachelor of Management
  • Royal Roads University: Bachelor of Commerce (Entrepreneurial Management)
  • Northern Alberta Institute of Technology: Bachelor of Applied Business Administration - Accounting
  • Okanogan College: Bachelor of Business Administration

Entrance Requirements

High School Diploma, or equivalent, with:

  • A minimum of 60% (C-) in Math 30/30 Pure or 65% (C-) in Math 33/30 Applied and
  • A minimum of 60% (C-) in English 30/30-1 or 65% (C-) in English 33/30-2 Mature students students who are 21 years or older may be admitted by:
    • the completion of the above Math and English courses only (with the grades specified) or
    • a pass mark on the College Entrance Test. (Contact the Office of the Registrar at (780) 791 4801 to arrange to write this exam.); or
    • apply as a "Special" student. Special students may take up to four courses without meeting the Admission Requirements.

International Students: Students for whom English is not their native language, must attain a minimum score of 550 written, or 213 on computer, on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) exam. Such students must also write and/or attain a passing mark on the College Entrance Exam or meet the English and Mathematics requirements set out above.
