Keyano College offers a 10-month program that prepares students for post- secondary opportunities or employment. It is designed for people who have experienced barriers to learning such as developmental delays and learning problems. The program's goal is to develop students' organizational, educational, and career goals, so they move closer to securing employment or consider further education.

If you have graduated or previously participated in vocational, integrated occupational, individual modified academic or special education programs, Keyano College offers a variety of unique post-secondary opportunities designed to foster employment, academic and personal growth.

The Transitional Programs aims to:

• Ease the transition from high school to employment or future education
• Provide an opportunity for you to experience one more year in a structured educational environment
• Provide you with the necessary tools to be successful in the future
• Develop your organizational, educational and career goals

Students wishing to enter any of the above programs should meet with an advisor to clarify their educational goals and determine appropriate level of entry.

The program is divided into four parts:

1. Life Management Skills
2. Employability Skills
3. Individual Academic Programming
4. Work Experience

• Must be 18 years of age
• Apply by April 16 so that students can be assisted with funding applications and interviews prior to May 30 for the Fall term.
