Keyano Huskies men’s and women’s basketball opening games results at 2017-2018 ACAC Basketball Championships

Keyano Huskies women's basketball, No.1 seed in the North, were upset in their opening match at the 2017-2018 Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference Women's Basketball championships in Calgary, losing to the No. 4 seed in the South, the St. Mary's Lightning, by a 65-60 score.

 

Leading scorer for the Huskies was Augusta Kievisaite with 13 points and 11 rebounds.

 

Huskies enter the consolation side where they will play the Olds College Broncos tomorrow Friday March 1, 2018 at 1 p.m. at SAIT gymnasium.

 

Huskies are ranked No. 4 by the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association.

Leading scorer for the Huskies was Stefan Jovcic with 19 points and 11 rebounds.

 

Huskies enter the consolation side where they will play the Red Deer Kings tomorrow Friday March 1, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Val Matteotti Gymnasium.

 

Trojans are ranked No. 12 by the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association.
