Application and Registration at Keyano Begins Today

Office of the Registrar now open for credit and non-credit programs

(Fort McMurray, AB – July 4, 2016) – Keyano College’s Office of the Registrar is now open for applications and registrations for the fall 2016 and winter 2017.

On June 28 the Office of the Registrar opened for apprenticeship registration and the College received an excellent response from students. Apprentices are registering in all trades offered at the College.

“We are thrilled to see the number of apprenticeship students registered last week and we look forward to welcoming general application and registration students today,” says Peter Lawlor, Interim Vice President, Academic. “Our faculty and staff cannot wait until our students are back in class and on campus. Many of our students have expressed a desire to return to Keyano College and their academic pursuits. We would like to congratulate them on being strong and resilient during this time.”

Effective today the application process is re-opened and registration for program accepted students begins for 2016/17.

How to apply or register:

  • Application: You may apply through applyalberta.ca or in-person at the Registrar.
  • Registration: Registration may be done in person or online, at www.selfservice.keyano.ca. To access online registration, please use the username and password received upon acceptance.

Non-credit program registration is open for Basic Safety Orientation, Testing Services, and Safety Certifications including Air Brakes Q Endorsement, Rigging & Overhead Crane, Skid Steer, Forklift and more. Safety Certification courses start as early as July 20, 2016.

For those who are visiting the Office of the Registrar in person, please use Entrance A, nearest the Franklin Avenue/King Street green space, or Entrance F, nearest the Theatre and Clearwater Hall parking lot.
