Though Keyano College remains closed, students and staff can make arrangements to collect their personal belongings from Keyano College properties beginning today, June 7, 2016.
This includes the Clearwater Hall (Purple Palace) student residence, as well as offices, student lockers, etc.
In order to facilitate access, you are required to make an appointment. Melane LeBlanc will coordinate appointments and provide an escort through the campus and residences for the purpose of picking up personal belongings only. To make an appointment with Melane please contact 780-742-3488 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
The College is still undergoing major cleaning with multiple contractors onsite, and general re-entry is not being permitted at this time. We appreciate your patience through this process.
As well, cleaning has been completed at the Penhorwood property, and cleaning should be completed at our Reidel properties by Wednesday of this week. Please note: While the units have been cleaned, the refrigerators have not yet been replaced so personal coolers will be required. We will contact tenants in the future regarding the replacement schedule.
As a returning tenant, you will need to contact ATCO to have your gas turned on. Please register with ATCO at one of the Municipality’s Information Centres, or learn more at rmwb.ca
. A representative of Keyano does not need to be present for gas to be re-activated. Please note:
If you are returning to Fort McMurray after
June 12, there is a different process for activation that requires contacting the natural gas retailer. Learn more by visiting the ATCO Responds
Should you have any questions regarding the above, please contact the Facilities Helpdesk at email@example.com.
