CEMSPM100 - Microsoft Project 2013

Microsoft Project is a powerful tool that allows users to track the progress of their projects. Microsoft Project has features to help users manage time, budgets and resources as well as schedule and track project tasks. Students will use advanced functions to customize a project plan. Topics include using drawing tools, setting options, workgroup functions, Project Central, sharing data among programs, multi-project management, cost management, tracking results, and resource and task management.

TEXTBOOK: There is no required Textbook for this course, student printed materials will be provided in class.

Primavera: Introductory & Advanced Courses


CEPRIMA001 Primavera 106 - Fundamentals

This three-day course provides hands-on training for Primavera’s client/server based solution. Participants will gain a thorough background in the concepts of planning and scheduling techniques. Practical, solution based workshops help you create and track an entire project to completion. All workshops and instruction use the three basic elements of project management: schedule, resource and costs. (19.5 PDUs) (21 Hrs)

CEPRIMA002 Primavera 106-P - Advanced

This combined 2-course training session provides in-depth project management and resource management training in Primavera’s client/server-based solution, building off skills learned in the basic course (102). Topics include earned value analysis, updating baselines, importing & exporting project data, top-down budgeting, managing resource allocation, future-period bucket planning, and resource leveling. Extended case studies at the end of each session provide an opportunity to apply new skills and functionality. (19.5 PDUs) (21 Hrs) Prerequisite: Primavera 102

CEPRIMA003 Primavera Risk Analysis

This course provides training for Primavera Risk Management solutions. Participants will gain thorough background knowledge in the basic concepts of risk management. The two-day class leads participants through examples of specific risk modeling techniques and provides a lab style workshop to allow students to apply the learned techniques.
